Vidyarani Lisa Hofmann began her study of yoga in 1994 with OYBC. She began teaching in 2000 and is a registered Yoga Instructor through Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health.

She has taken workshops with esteemed instructors Rodney Yee, Erich Schiffmann, and Angela Farmer in addition to trainings in Integrative Yoga Therapy with Joseph LePage; prenatal yoga with Janice Clairfield; and Radiant Child Yoga with Shakta Kaur Khalsa. Currently, she is working towards her 500 hour certification through Kripalu.

Lisa’s educational background includes the study of art and a Master’s degree in Art History. A lifelong love of art making and art appreciation have inspired her to investigate new ways of self exploration using the tools of art journaling, photography, collage and free form writing in conjunction with meditation, breath work and visualization practices. Her teaching focus is to encourage a joyful and playful reconnection with one’s creative life force.
